Features of the Detroit Diesel Calibration Tool 4.5:

DDCT 4.5 allows foremen and service technicians:

• View and edit control parameters in the ECU to optimize the engine control logic.
• Monitor tool data during engine operation, such as revolutions per minute (RPM), temperature and pressure of liquids.

A wide range of parameters and tools:

• The controlled parameters and data can have various formats (integers, floating point numbers, enumerated values) and structures (scalar quantities, one-, two-, or three-dimensional tables).
  DDCT 4.5 offers a wide range of tools for viewing and editing all types of data, including:
  Virtual tools: analog sensors, thermometers, graphs, sliders.
  Tabular editors.
  Control buttons.
  Text and table editors.

Working with calibration files:

The control parameters of the ECU are determined by two types of files:
Metafile (.MET) - defines the structure of the parameters and is created using Pi's Metafile Compiler (Pi metafile compiler).
Calibration file (.CAL) - contains parameter values and is generated by the DDCT 4 tool.5.

Calibration editing options:

Calibrations can be edited both online and offline:
Offline editing:
Open a previously saved version of the calibration file.
Connect to the ECU, download the calibration and then disconnect.
Make changes to DDCT 4.5 and save them for later download to the ECU.
Alternatively, connect to the ECU and upload the edited calibration directly to the control unit.

Online editing:
Select the desired options for editing.
Activate the "Cal on the Fly" mode (On-the-fly calibration).
DDCT 4.5 first loads the current parameter values from the ECU.
Any changes made in the "Cal on the Fly" mode will be instantly transferred to the running ECU.
